There’s a sweet smell of chocolate in the air and it’s calling your name, so my dear friends, grab your librettos because it’s time to open the factory gates and step inside the deliciously magical world of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’!

Yes that’s right, we’ve put together our most delectable and delightfully daring set of costumes ever for this sugary feast of a show and "It's Aliiiiive - MWAHahahahaaaa!!" ...... ehem (clears throat)

We're talking squirrels in Tootoo's; an inflatable suit for Violet so she blows up before your very eyes, Oompah-Loompah's with glow in the dark raver glasses, and so much more.

This. Show. Has. Everything!!

So get your Wonka bars and let the hunt for the golden tickets begin, because my dears you are not going to want to miss this one!
And on that note, I leave you with these words - from the famous man himself:

“‘We must hurry! We have so much time and so little to do! No! Wait! Strike that! Reverse it!‘”

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - Thespis Theatrical Costumiers

Step into a world of pure imagination with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, based on the iconic novel by Roald Dahl. This whimsical musical features an original score by Marc Shaiman, with lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman (known for Hairspray) and a book by David Greig. Fans of the classic 1971 film will be delighted to hear familiar favorites, as the score includes timeless songs from Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley, such as "Candy Man," "I've Got a Golden Ticket," "Oompa Loompa Song," and "Pure Imagination."

The world-renowned Willy Wonka is throwing open the doors to his fantastical factory—but only for a select few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other lucky golden ticket winners are invited on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure through Wonka’s enchanting realm, where chocolate rivers flow, squirrels are nutty (in every sense!), and the Great Glass Elevator awaits. Guiding them on this magical journey is Wonka himself, along with his playful and curious Oompa-Loompas.
